Who we are

Dandelion House was started by Daniel Hill and Natalie Hill. They had the vision of a more person-centred approach to disability support that would put a stronger focus on fostering relationships between those needing care and their families.

Vision

To be a model provider in person-centred care and use our unique approach towards supported living to help our clients achieve their goals and live their best life.

Mission

To redefine supported living and remove the stigma around the idea of group homes, with a focus on our client’s health, happiness, safety and lifestyle quality.

Values

To empower our clients with opportunity, community and purpose. Our whole organisation is centred around quality, honesty, consistency, loyalty and dignity.

Dandelion House’s mission is to enable our clients to improve their lives as they work towards greater independence.

After their own experience of caring for a family member with a disability for over 12 years, and being dissatisfied with the many challenges and difficulties that confronted them, Daniel and Natalie decided to create a safe and supportive environment where people in care still have a voice and are able to make their own choices about how they live.

Our mission at Dandelion House is to enable our clients to work towards greater independence and live their best life. It is our goal to be a model provider of person-centred support and give our clients the ability to participate in social activities at whatever level they are comfortable with.

We are proud to provide our services in over 30 homes across Newcastle, the central coast and Dubbo, as well as organise engaging community activities for people with disabilities that enable them to have a life full of meaningful relationships. If there is a person in your family who needs care, please contact us, we would love to talk to you.
